Yee! Had to add a picture of a champagne-soaked bride-to-be wearing her crown poolside.
Now that’s a bachelorette party: the bride drunk, saucy, and foolishly attired.
She took it off a minute later, but in her defense, a sequined tulle crown is as scratchy as it is gaudy.
I’ll have to sneak some velvet lining into the inside if I’m going to trick her into wearing it at the next bachelorette party…
Hey! I would like to interview you about your book for my MA project (a magazine for girls that knit). I am doing a MA in Fashion Journalism at the London College of Fashion. The interview might also feature in a fashion blog I am producing for the BBC World Service – Brazilian Section, where I work. We could do the interview by phone, whenever you are free. I am on a short deadline, so it would be great if you could talk to me within the next week! If you send me your phone number I can explain more about the project.
Thank you!
Regards
Just wanted to congratulate you on the article about you and your book in the Chronicle: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2006/12/14/violetblue.DTL
Knitbloggers are everywhere! Knit on…
Consider me a fan! I just found out about you through the lovely and talented Domiknitrix who is finding her book next to yours in many articles. Your book looks amazing and I’m ready to purchase it December 20th!

PS: Golly, I think your Katamari knit is button cute! And whoever said you were manly, clearly must be smoking crack. You are clearly Girly McGirl Girl! All in the best spirit of girliness.
AAA! The crown THE CROWN!
I’m currently struggling with one in green crepe paper. Hardest damn knitting I’ve ever done, and I’ve only gone like 3 rows. It NEVER EVER EVER occurred (sp?) to me to make one out of tulle.
I’m so going to the fabric store. There’s hot pink tulle SCREAMING for me.
