Thank god(?) for Reverse Lent! I keep running into these crafty (in so many ways) Catholic blogs, and as a recovering Catholic, there's a fascination/repulsion aspect to it. Why does everything have to be about punishment?

Love the tea cozy, however. Don't frog it! And stare at your baby; go ahead, do it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this vest! I've knitted several vests during the years but this one remains my one and only really adored one... THANK you SO much for this great patter here. It is perfectly written even for beginners (I think I've started knitting with it, if I remeber well...) and the result looks gorgeous on baby girls and boys... When I post the newest manly vest in my life, the comments always show how much this piece appeals to us knitting mothers, and now and then they are asking me if I know a pattern in german just like this one... which I don't. And that is why I aks you if there would be a way for me to translate your manly vest pattern into German. I wouldn't post it without your permission, but if you'd allow me to make it, I'm sure there would be a lot of german speaking bloggers (and other people too) who'd be so grateful and thrilled to knit their own manly vest... Please let me know. And thank you anyway!

Hi Nikol, I'm always so impressed with EVERYTHING that you accomplish. Miss Twyla is precious in her knitted pretties. I sure hope she is staying well with all this illness going around. It's a good thing we postponed spinsters our mad batter day. Next month hopefully I will drive a new car down for it. Fingers crossed anyway. Get well soon!

It's been awhile since I've visited here, but I'm glad to be back ("knew" you when it was Disgruntled Housewife, and I was spending my work day on Wall Street surfing your site - ah, the good old days). Anyway, I still have my own "uberlists" hanging around, and I'm glad to see you're still at it.

Twyla Pearl? Super cute and super lucky. Congrats!

Hehe! :) I'm glad that The Tiny Boss will tolerate the sweater for a little while...if nothing else to get this fantastic picture of her "OMG, Mom, what are you doing?!?" face. She is adorable and rocks the handknits, of course!
