Then today I took several lovely natural light photos with no card in my camera. It was a big mystery, what happened to the photos, until I realized my camera will let you pretend to take pictures all day long if it’s in viewfinder mode. It will even give you a preview of the imaginary capture so you can admire your good work before it vanishes into the ether. So I retook them, but they’re not so hot in fake light.
But anyway, here’s the cabled balaklava I made Ron for Christmas. I’m making myself one next, and I’ll write up the pattern. You can fold it up twice to make a super crazy warm snuggly toque if it warms up and you’re not feeling the full-face action.
That’s some gorgeous cable work!
Wow – you’re not only an amazing knitter – you’re also fabulous with patterns and pattern ideas!
Can’t wait for the pattern – thanks for the photos…
Marie
