I’m very intrigued by this, as I’ve never been around other spinners really. I have a wheel, but I’m not sure how to bring it? Are there wheels to use? Also, do a lot of people come solo, not knowing anyone else?
Bringing your wheel depends on the type (some break down easily to fit in a suitcase or box; others don’t) & how you’re traveling (car or train makes it easier, but lots of students fly with their wheels).
Coming solo is no problem–I’d estimate a little over half of students come alone. It’s very light & friendly.
super tempting and I LOVE this project – I am hoping to get to come visit for a week or two (maybe during a yarn school) and experience this first hand! I love old buildings, old schools and the freedom a project like this affords!
Will there still be a fall yarn school?
Yes.

And we do have student wheels, too.
Oh man I wish I lived closer and I would so be there! =)
