Yarn: 2 balls Schulana Morbido + 2 balls Plymouth Baby Alpaca Brush Pattern: Evening Shell from Twinkle’s Big City Knits Size: M After the week-long gluttony of my cruise, I’m feeling a little thick for this. But in my imaginary world of make-believe, where I’m back at my goal weight, it’s freakin adorable. And even [...]

Another variation for my Hat Menagerie class (Chicago–I’ll be teaching it at the KC & Minneapolis expos, too). I believe I’m going to add a curly faux beard to the baby version. Who doesn’t love bearded babies!?

The dress plan worked. Not mind-blowing or anything, but comfortable, cool & a quick sew. I’m going to make another with the changes I’d like & I’ll make a tutorial for it. Gosh, I look almost trim here. The dress isn’t amazingly flattering; it’s jut a lucky picture.

The band plays a bump and grind and Ana warms up to the idea. After the [...]

I love the Naughty Needles Burlesque “costumes” that will actually be able to make it into my normal wardrobe afterwards. Here’s one. It’s for the schoolgirl act, but it turned out awfully cute! Here’s a closeup of the button placket, which I really love: Plus the buttons are awfully cute. I know I’ll wear the [...]

Yup, the creepy factor is high on the dollbaby head, but it was the only appropriately sized head-shaped thing I could find. I’m pleased with the overall shape and the little nubby horns and the button mod, but my knitting was kind of sloppy and loose. You can see how stupidly loose on the back. [...]
